There is a total of 51 Episodes of Hagane No Renkinjutsushi. In Japanese, several fansubbing groups have done/are still doing it. Anime Keep & AnbuDom which fansubbed the first 31 episodes before dropping it. Other fansubbing groups are/were doing it as well such as #spoon, Shinsen Subs & Sonchou Fansubs, who worked together to complete the series. Hence, fansubbing wise, you can found all the episodes if you look hard enough. All of Sonchou's fansubs are on IRC in bots, so they are still available. The series itself was recently licensed by FUNimation and airs on 'Adult Swim' on the Cartoon Network channel. The timings and episode and airings can be found here. The anime differs VERY MUCH from the manga, and do to this, they are totally different endings. The FMA Anime, for example, has already ended while chapters are still coming out. The FMA Movie, the conclusion to the anime, is scheduled to be released in August of 2005.
